Mr. Hendrick's 150th birthday party!
I brought away some amazing photos from this event, I'm proud to show you a few of my favorites. I must address though, the fact that Abilene has misconceptions about what they do at the Hendrick Home for Children. They are NOT an orphanage, they are simply there to give folks a place to stay (or their children) when they cannot afford to have their own home. They provide for single mothers, low income families, and of course the children themselves. I wish I could live there! The place is fantastic!
